Just got a story (actually an email forward) on some dude’s presence of mind while awaiting an interview as a telegram operator (Ye! This is a black-and-white story, yes, from the 1800s I guess.)

What was interesting about the story was the presence of some text in Morse Code at the end, left as an exercise for the reader.

Caught my attention and google time…

……-…-..— .—–.-..-..-..! .- –……..—.. ..-. —–.-….. -.-.—-…!

This one sounds neat, if it really decodes via sound card to text! CW morse code decoder

Something more interesting…

Finally, a no-frills Morse Code page…

BTW, one last thing, how to generate Morse Code text? http://www.urban75.com/Mag/morse.html http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1352587/code-golf-morse-code
